PowerCo Development Group, LLC is pursuing the development of a 30,000 square foot steel-frame, flex warehouse commercial building, with an approximately 8,500 square foot mezzanine, to deliver a best-in-class, indoor/outdoor elite training complex to serve identified underserved market demand segments in Albuquerque, NM. PowerCo Fitness Complex & Event Center (PCF), is expected to offer a wide spectrum of advanced training solutions that can be individually tailored to create a boutique experience at a competitive price point, all in one location.
PCF’s target markets, specifically, youth performance, Obstacle Course Racing, position specific athletic training and high-performing, multi-disciplinary competitive athletes, are currently underserved in Albuquerque. Our target customer often holds multiple gym memberships to address all of their training needs. PCF will leverage technology and self-powered equipment to drive operational efficiencies, reduce variable and equipment replacement cost, and more importantly, to allow members to train how they want, and when they want.
This PCF development will benefit from the collective development and operational expertise of the developer, PowerCo Development Group, and its fitness industry, operations and management consultants.
Designed to serve approximately 4,500 customers, the operating model for the training complex is the development of exacting and distinct indoor/outdoor training areas, a dedicated mat room, and a recovery/spa room that will meet the training requirements for each of our target demographics. The PCF training complex also seeks to serve the broader fitness population who seek an upscale, less crowded facility with superior amenities that, in aggregate, low-cost gyms currently do not offer.
PCF expects to be the first to market with this indoor/outdoor training and event center concept targeting specific, underserved demographics.

The fully developed 2.71 acres will house a 30,000sf steel building and nearly 1/2 football field for outdoor speed, strength and CrossFit style training.

250,000 kWh Annual Solar Production
362 roof mounted solar panels are estimated to generate over 250,000 kWh annually. Nearly all of the Project’s electrical requirements will be met during peak hours of operation through solar power generation providing predictable monthly utility charges. Our commitment to renewable energy is good for the environment and the investment.
Our Commitment To Safety
Ultraviolet Light (UV-C) Protection
PowerCo is commited to staff and member safety through the use of facility-wide ultraviolet (UV-C) lamps and all UV-C coverage of all group training rooms, including the Mat Room, Spin Studio and GroupX room.
PowerCo may be the first facility in the country to incorporate this type of comprehensive approach to sterilizing many of the commonly known airborne and surface-borne pathogens.
